Team building activity - On Monday to kick start the term off we did a team building activity. The children were put into groups and given 20 sheets of paper, 2m of cellototape and 2 A4 Card pieces of paper. The children had 20 minutes to try and building the longest bridge that could hold a bottle of water. Well done to Carter, Beau, Anabelle and Dylan who had the longest bridge at 1m 23cm!

Grandparents Day! What a special time it was having these lovely people visit their grandchildren in Room 6! The children were busy sharing the things they had made for them, and making a photo-frame for their special pictures to send home with their grandparents. Check out the smiles :)

Writing instructions about how to build huts. Today the children made huts, then sat inside to write a set of instructions on how to build at hut using and exemplar and success criteria to hit the brief! They all did a super job, and the learning experience was rich and authentic :)

Road Safety - Today we had a valuable lesson from the local constable on how to cross the road safely at a pedestrian. Room 6 children were great, unfortunately some of the vehicles didn't stop tho :( teaching kids an important lesson to make sure the cars are fully stopped before crossing.
